Lucy, Noir. Winter's Melancholy
It was a few days of record-breaking cold in Montreal this November. A warm front followed with rain and fog. On foggy days, I’m compelled to take my camera outside. There is something soulful and melancholy about everyday scenes when shrouded in mist. I feel the mystery and silence of our world on days like today and it usually makes me feel small. And that’s ok because I think we need to feel that once in a while, to reconnect with the awesomeness around us and realize that we actually know very little. Humbling indeed.
