Montreal Wedding Photography
Intimate, non-traditional weddings with elopement feels.
Relaxed elegance, mixed with a little mood. Wedding Photography rooted in emotional richness and noir-inspired Atmospheric storytelling.
the best kind of wedding feels like you.
A boutique hotel, a hillside inn, your family's lakeside cottage. Surrounded by your people, having a great time, and feeling part of the group rather than on display.
Feel like yourselves, stay present.
That’s how to make wedding photos that look like art & feel like home.
For couples who may feel a little wedding-ish and a little elope-ish.
BESTKND weddings
The best kind of wedding is intimate, intentional, and unhurried. Near home or a little ways away. Not quite running away, not quite staying put — somewhere wonderfully in between.
Elopement from Germany in Mont-Tremblant Region. You don’t have to come from out of county to be married in the Laurentians!
Private vows with their wedding party before the ceremony, at Polo Parc Farms in Rigaud, QC
Weddings that blend the freedom feelings of an elopement with the warmth of a celebration
With a new family connection to Newfoundland, I discovered the expression best kind and it epitomizes weddings with a style and design that my couples seek. BESTKND Weddings are:
Intimate by design
Usually under 100 guests — often far fewer — so every moment feels personal and every guest, essential.
Reflect your couple personality
Your wedding may unfold as a relaxed weekender at an inn, a slow morning at an Airbnb before vows on the porch or an urban rooftop cocktail. A natural extension of how you love to spend time.
Custom and personal at its core
A first look at the high school where you met, a downtown Bixi ride to your reception. Details are yours.
Emotion-forward storytelling
Focused on connection, meaning, and atmosphere rather than excess or tradition for tradition’s sake.
Rooted in place
The setting matters, with place carefully chosen for your most important day for a reason. It will be forever linked with your wedding day through your photos.
Arrive to a day that feels like yours alone.
The best kind of place
Your wedding begins with a place Not just a venue, but an atmosphere that feels right. It’s the backdrop that holds your people and your story.

Nature kind of places: Auberges, mountain chalets, sugar shacks, lakeside inns, garden pavilions — places where nature sets the tone.
City kind of places: Canal districts, industrial lofts, rooftop terraces, museums, or quiet courtyards — urban spaces that feel intimate and rich in culture.
Urban courtyard wedding in the heart of the Old Port of Montreal for about 25 guests. Children played in a safe space while a single guitarist entertained. Dinner next door at Kevino Daylight Factory (now Café Paper Hill)
Modern chalet near Mont Tremblant. Elopement from Germany. 5 guest plus their officiant/ best friend. Peaceful and remote location with a ceremony in the trees. A walkabout the trails and into the forest for portraits. Dinner prepared as a group.
A relaxed tent wedding on a few acres of the family land. The groom baked the cake in the morning, portraits in the rolling hills of the Eastern Townships, lawn games. A simple, lakeside ceremony followed a leisurely reception with family-style dining.
A weekender wedding at stunning Manoir Hovey in North Hatley, QC. The couple and less than 20 guests enjoyed 2 leisurely days of relaxing and getting married! The couple enjoyed a morning-after session with their pup.
Groom and his boys hanging out at the onsite chalet at Rigaud’s Polo Parc Farms. A tent wedding on a private terrain. Forested with a small brook, open fields for ceremony and portraits, and horses! A huge bonfire pit for drinks and smores late into the night.

Are you a Montreal Couple thinking of eloping to Newfoundland?
or a Newfoundland couple looking for a different flavour of photographer at home?
With close family in Newfoundland since 2021, I have spent several months over the course of the last few years travelling and exploring this most amazing island. From cultural venues like The Rooms in the heart of St. Johns, to luxurious Fogo Island Inn on remote and rugged Fogo Island, you are immersed in ocean breezes, breathtaking cliffs, atmospheric fog and colourful jellybean houses.
Because NL is on my BESTKND bucket list, travel fees are waived and accommodation only needed if outside of St. John’s. Contact me today to help you design that adventure!

Awards & Accreditation
Professional competitions and accreditation opportunities motivate me as a life-long learner. While it’s always nice to be recognized as an artist, there are a few key benefits to you as well:
Credibility and Trust
Awards and accreditations can serve as a seal of approval for potential clients who may be seeking a photographer. Being an award-winning photographer and one who seeks to learn and grow can enhance credibility and establish trust with clients seeking high-quality work.
Skill Development
The process of selecting, curating, and submitting work for awards is a valuable learning experience. It can push photographers to critically evaluate their own work, strive for excellence, and continuously improve their skills.
Inspiration and Motivation
Seeing your work acknowledged and celebrated through awards can be highly motivating. It can inspire photographers to challenge themselves creatively, experiment with new techniques, and continue pushing boundaries in their craft.
