A fun-filled day at vibrant Old Montreal

I remember Stephanie and Christian telling me that the reason they chose me as their photographer is because I seemed so relaxed and casual, which matched their vibe. Christian and his boys got ready at Scotch & Scissors, an eclectic barber shop on St. Denis. It was an awesome spot for groom prep! Stephanie was at Lofts du Vieux Port - rustic and gorgeous with thick brick walls and a modern vibe.

Here are the highlights of their wedding at the Vieux-Port Steakhouse, one of the best wedding venues in Old Montreal. Stephanie had warned me that she's a crier, and I think we all joined in when her father saw her in her dress! Stephanie and Christian did their first look right outside the restaurant, and it was so emotional that we were all fighting to hold back the tears. After that we headed to Cours le Royer for the bridal portraits, although not before making a stop to be photographed with Polly, their pup! We then headed back to the restaurant for the ceremony, followed by family portraits and reception. As usual in Old Montreal, the streets were crowded, mostly with tourists, who took a keen interest of the couple and snapped many photos as they walked. I'm sure they made it into more than one Facebook vacation album.

It was really an amazing day and I'm so glad to have shared it with them. And thanks to my second shooter, Jan!
