Montreal Newborn Photography: The Story Behind the Wrinkles: A Journey with Baby Feet
The littlest feet make the biggest footprints in our hearts.
~Unknown
I believe we can really feel this quotation. By extension, photos of your newborn and family are the enduring footprints of your family’s time on this earth.
You may be an expecting parent or a new parent. Maybe it crossed your mind to document this important time in photographs but it feels overwhelming with a new baby on its way or already at home. I am here to reassure you that all you have to do is decide and contact me. I will take care of you and help to start or continue to build your family’s visual legacy.
My daughter is 17 now and baby toes are a thing of the past, unless grandchildren are in my future. In the meantime, I enjoy every tiny human I get to photograph, to wonder in their smallness and perfection while documenting family life after they’ve arrived. They are so tiny but cause such big life changes! And I am blessed not only to have photos of my daughter to remind me of when she was first born, but to have a library of client images which I’ve helped create those same footprints for.
What I find most endearing, especially with feet, is that no pair are the same! I am certain that our feet are created as little roadmaps for life, which is fitting as they are the feet that walk us through that life. There is a story to tell in every wrinkle. It is really fascinating that while from afar a baby’s feet all look similar — tiny and cute — each tells a different story of an adventure to come. We know fingerprints are unique and no 2 alike in the world; I think it’s true of baby feet!
