Family Session satisfaction promise: To ensure that any dissatisfaction with any portion of services rendered is quickly and honestly acknowledged. Lucy is prepared to offer a complimentary session if she did not perform to her own and to the client’s standards during the original session, and is prepared to offer a full money-back guarantee should she not deliver services and/or products that fully embody the excellence she strives for in her work or the provision of work that does not resemble what the client has seen as presented in the website portfolio, slideshows or social media outlets.
Clear pricing: All potential costs are disclosed through her investment page before a client makes a decision to work with Lucy
Timeliness: Lucy ensures she is on-time (and usually early) to all of her sessions.
Legal and business status
Lucy Baum Photography is a small business and considered in the eyes of the Quebec law as a small supplier. This means I am not obligated to charge sales taxes unless I exceed a certain revenue threshold for the year.
Lucy purposely maintains small photography business in order to invest fully in each client relationship. Her philosophy is quality over quantity. Lucy currently accepts 8-10 weddings and 15-20 family sessions annually.
Business Investments to serve clients at the highest level of quality
Lucy purchases and maintains top of the line camera equipment and is fully insured for both equipment and for personal liability of up to 2 million.
Lucy has invested in top notch computer hardware and software to provide the highest quality services to clients in the delivery and management of their photographs.
Lucy has a comprehensive backup system consisting of both local and cloud solutions to ensure safety of your most precious photographs.
Lucy invests in education and skill-building annually to ensure she remains at the forefront of new techniques, new technology and industry trends, as well as her own personal and creative development, all in service to her clientele.
Lucy is a member in good standing of the Professional Wedding Photographers of Canada.
Lucy donates money to her 3 preferred charities: Literacy Unlimited, West Island Mission, True North Aid
Statement of Ethics

Privacy: I am committed to the privacy of my clients, seek permissions related to their photographs and work with them to ensure their comfort with how any of their images are used, if at all. Clients have the right to revoke or change their consent at any time. I will also keep confidential all client personal information disclosed to me.
Representation: I strive to produce work in an honest and vulnerable way; prioritizing my clients so that they are seen primarily within my work and not me. I commit to never attempting to create an untrue or unethical representation of any clients.
Accountability: I acknowledge that I can make mistakes and am prepared to take full responsibility of my errors and to work with my clients to ensure their full satisfaction.
