Step 1: Spend time enjoying your preferred photography session

Sessions are relaxed and fluid. We mind the time, but we don’t keep it.

Step 2: Three weeks later when your photographic gallery is ready, select your preferred collection for purchase

Is your family story disappearing in a sea of social media?

Digital images are great as a backup and to share in our social media with friends and family, but your family’s legacy and history needs to be built beyond our new culture of hundreds of thousands of casual photos being created and posted every day. The joy you create with your photographer can and should be made tangible in an increasingly intangible world, so that your family story remains prominent and important in your lives. In the days gone by, we put photos into albums and frames, and stored the negatives. Digital images are the negatives of our time, because even their appearance online is brief and fleeting until they get served up in a social media memory, and so we’re losing the other, and most important part - displaying and cataloguing those photographs in the enduring medium of print.

A great JoyDay activity with your children is to create physical photo albums or to shop for frames and together decide where they go in your home! While there is room for both digital and print in today’s world - our ‘negatives’ are shown online versus stored in a box for an incredible way to share and connect as we’ve never had before - let’s not forget one for the other.

Print orders (wall prints/ art, and cards) may be made directly through your final online gallery and you can choose a print store credit in some of the above collections if you wish. Larger, custom orders and albums can be done directly through Lucy.
